We are in Panama. We are staying at Starfish Reef. They have 3 houses for people to rent and 1 house for them (Mr. Jack and Mrs. Kelly) to live in. They have a dog like a horse, his name is Salty Dog- he is huge! We are listening to the Christmas song, "All is Well."

November 30, 2008

We hiked up the mountain. Dad fell 2 times. Dad got muddy. Mommy was dancing when she slipped in mud. Ethan fell 1time. I love you and i miss you.

November 22 & 23

We went to Vista Golfo Hotel. Me, Ethan, and Daddy went on an ATV ride. We rode about 20 laps around the track. There was one other man who I and Ethan rode with but Ethan mostly rode with Daddy. It was fun.The next morning Me, Kendal and Mommy went on a horse ride. We saw a school way up in the mountains with only 10 students in the whole school. Our pool is shaped like a letter "T". It had a waterfall. We used it for as a diving board. We swam about 5 times. I climbed on a climbing wall. I went to the top 3 times. At breakfast we saw a rainbow. We got home by riding in a taxi, then we took a bus, and then another taxi and then another bus.

November 15 and 16

This weekend we drove for a very long time. We headed to La Fortuna and got to swim in a 80 foot waterfall. There were two pools there, one with the big waterfall and the other that have fish and big rocks. After that we drove to the hanging bridges, we walked across 16 bridges we got some nice pictures. On every bridge we made it bounce. We went to our hotel next to a volcano named Arenal. At night we got to see hot lava roll down the mountain. But in the day the volcano was cover by clouds.

In the morning we went swimming even though it was raining. Down a bumpy road we found a sky tram and sky trek. Ethan got to do two zip lines because he was only five and you had to be 8. Me and Dad got to do all eight lines. (yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh). It was fun, I screamed on the way down. Mom and Kendal rode the sky tram down.

I Lost My Tooth

I lost my front tooth today. My music teacher pulled it out. It did not hurt. Before it was bleeding. People wanted to see my tooth. In my class, I have 10 girls+8 boys=18 in all. I have 2 friends at our house in Costa Rica. They only speak Spanish but it is fun to play outside with them.

November 8 & 9

We drove in a car that we had rented. We went to see volcano Poas. It was shooting up smoke. We walked up and down hill at the volcano. We drove a bit farther to a hotel. We could not stay there because they did not have room. We drove a bit more to a hotel, but they gave our room to someone else. Then we drove to another hotel. They had hot springs. Mommy and I went horseback riding. My horse was hunger and went fast. Mommy's horse was slow. We saw a sloth hanging in a tree and a baby cow in the pasture.

November 4, 2008

There are lots of buses,dogs, homes and people. There are less cars, schools, churches and TVs. My brother is making a Lego set. He is making a boat and a car too. It has a tree with 2 helpers and 1 friend, and you know him, he is named Indiana Jones.

November 1, 2008

We walked to the bus stop. I saw a yellow home and lots of trees. We are going to see a volcano. We took another bus to the top of the volcano. It was bumpy. We saw a cow in the road. The bus was full. We got to feel the dark sand and the rock. We sat at the back of the bus, it was fun. We went to see a church. It was beautiful and pretty. The church is white and gray. They are selling toys in front of the church. We went to the garden. There was lots of bamboo and flowers.

It was my 3rd day of school here. I got to color a picture. I have many friends, I have a friend name Dominique. She is fun and she is nice.

October 28, 2008

I was fun, we took a bus. I learned a French foot dance. I love school. I played football. I love my class. I have a friend named Camilla, she is fun. The differences between Excel and St.Gregory's are... here i have 3 teachers each day. I have no playground to play at. It rains almost every day for ten minutes. Gym is outside. There is no art class. Music is harder, we do not sing. We have two recesses. We call soccer "football" here. In my class I have 10 girls and 7 boys. We have to wear uniforms to school. They have no drinking fountains.

We watched Monsters Inc. We walked into Tres Rios looking for a church. We played football (soccer). We played in the back yard.

We took a bus to San Jose. It took a long time. We went to the children's museum. It w as fun. We got to fly an airplane.

We took a bus to our school. I got to sit at my desk. I love it. We walked up the mountain. I was tired. We were lost.

It was boring. We went on an airplane. A man drove us home. It is small. We went for a walk in the rain. We got soaked.

It was the baddest time. We slept at the airport. We couldn't sleep because we didn't catch our airplane.
